Hey Everyone!

We are the BrewCru of Atlanta, Georgia bringing new coffee adventures to the people of the Metro Atlanta Area. The BrewCru is an organization operated by college students who love the coffee life and want to educate others on new study spaces, a nice hangout area, great food, and awesome coffee!

Our Story

This group is led by Sydney Mattsen, the person with big ideas and big dreams. She created BrewCru in a Social Media class, where she had the opportunity to create a mini business to grow and share with others. Sydney asked four other friends to help BrewCru come to life. To a surprise half of the group doesn’t like coffee, but likes a great place to study, chill, and eat food. The other brewers are Emma Milner, Lauren Daddario, Crystal Park, and Josh Francis.

Meet The Team

Sydney Mattsen

Sydney is a senior at Kennesaw State University studying Digital Animation with a Minor in Advertising and Digital Media. She works as a Lead Brand Ambassador at KSU. In the future she would love to work in the entertainment industry, specifically animation. She wants to be a part of visually bringing authentic stories to life in exciting new ways. At BrewCru, she’s looking forward to learning more about her community and sharing her experience with everyone.

Josh Francis

Josh Francis is a senior at Kennesaw State University majoring in Marketing with a Minor in Advertising and Digital Media. In the future he wants to be able to work in a non-profit to help smaller companies grow to help others. Working with BrewCru, he wants to show people to hidden gems of what a coffee shop holds.

Emma Milner

Emma Milner is a senior at Kennesaw State University majoring in Marketing, and after graduation she wants to work at large marketing agency that works with those in the entertainment industry. For BrewCru she’s excited to go to new places and learn about the world of cafes and coffee shops and what they bring to communities around her.

Crystal Park

Crystal Park is a senior at Kennesaw State University majoring in Marketing and plans to pursue a career in either advertising or social media marketing for the fashion industry. Working with BrewCru, she hopes to find new places and engage with her surrounding communities.

Lauren Daddario

Lauren Daddario is a senior at Kennesaw State University majoring in Public Relations with a Minor in Marketing. After graduation she wants to pursue social media management in the sports entertainment industry. Being a part of BrewCru, she hopes to expand her knowledge about coffee shops and share her experience through social media.

Bru

Bru is a character created from whip cream to sweeten BrewCru’s life. Bru is a dollop of fun and has recently graduated Brewster College with a Major in Exquisite Taste and Preferences. Now that Bru has a degree, he wants to build up BrewCru as a business and take Sydney’s position as lead. Bru currently serves as our brand’s mascot to help produce our content.
